No Blog Last Night

So there was no blog last night. Mainly because I was trying to turn in some Government I homework that I totally did not realize I had to do. I got it done, but I am pretty sure it was late. So in order to make sure that this doesn't happen again I made a calendar and wrote down everything and when it is due. Between my school work, my oldest daughter's online high school work and my middle son's online school work I am going to be pretty busy. Tonight I have a sewing classes to go to. Oh shoot that reminds me I need to finish cutting out my patterns and cloth. Dang it. Guess I better get on that right now.

True Blood Sundays

So tonight was True Blood Sunday. Every Sunday hubby and I put the little ones to bed and watch True Blood and we just love the show. When we lived in Vegas we used to have one of my best friends Jana and her hubby come over and watch it with us because they didn't have HBO. We made it a big thing with either them or us making dinner for the night and then all the kids went upstairs to play while we watched the show. Then when my cousin, April, and her hubby, Colin, moved back to Vegas we invited them over to watch it with us. It was all 3 families together to watch. It really was a great time.

Since we moved to another state we aren't able to do that anymore. We haven't really made friends out here yet. Jana and her hubby moved to LA (not the city, but state) and our 8 hrs aways. So they really can't come over to watch with us on the weekend and April & Colin are 18 hours from us. It really sucks, but I usually go on Facebook so that I can chat it up with them and my girl Amy who is in Vegas as well.

Tonight was a good episode. It is defiantly getting different than the books. I have read the complete series already so I thought I would check out the show. The show is amazing and I love both the book and the show. I like the show a little more than other shows based on books because I don't know what is going to happen. I love that in the books Sookie is with someone else than the tv show. This season she should have completely broken up with Bill and the start of next season moved on to someone else. The way this season is going though I am not sure if it is going that way or not. It makes it exciting because the 1st season I knew everything that was going on and they really only changed a few things here and there. This last season and this season they are really changing it up and I like it. I have the books to read and the television show.

For those that have watched the show I am a huge Lafayette fan. I am so glad that they did not kill him off at the end of the first season like he was in the books. He is just so fun to watch and brings character to the story. I can't wait to see what amazing things they are going to do with him. Lafayette and Sam are the real reason I come back each week to watch.

For those that have read the books I am a Sookie/Sam fan. I personally think she should be with Sookie because he can give her everything she wants. A home, children, marriage, free from thoughts (because he can block her out, and she would be safe with him because he wouldn't want to drink her blood all the time. That is just my thoughts though. LOL.

Well I am off to bed. 2 weeks till the next True Blood. Man it is going to suck not only waiting, but the fact the it is the last one till next year. Going to have to watch the Blurays alot. LOL.
